This public area is only open on the west-half of the river, from the west bank to the center of the river only.  The location is in Douglas County proper and is just over half-mile in length.  This area is about two miles below Coffee Creek, one of the richest tributaries of theSouthUmpquaRiver.

This public access point is a two-wheel-drive gravel road onto a gravel bar off of the Tiller Trail Highway.  There are no fees.  There is plenty of parking and a 4×4-access boat ramp.
